Al Jalila Foundation is a globally recognised philanthropic organisation dedicated to transforming lives through medical education, research, and healthcare initiatives. Established by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the foundation aims to position Dubai and the UAE at the forefront of medical innovation, named in honour of his daughter, Sheikha Al Jalila, and her inspiring vision.

GHD, a global multidisciplinary design and engineering firm, was tasked with creating the foundation’s headquarters in Dubai Healthcare City. The brief was clear: images that went beyond architecture, capturing the dynamism, ambition, and innovative spirit of the organisation and the space it occupies. It was essential to convey the foundation’s forward-thinking vision, its cutting-edge facilities, and the sense of progress and collaboration that defines its work.

Working closely with the GHD team across multiple stages, we focused on the building’s clean modern lines, its light-filled open spaces designed to foster collaboration, and the more intimate areas where ideas are conceived and breakthroughs happen. The resulting images captured not just the striking design of the headquarters, but the energy and sense of possibility that the foundation stands for. Through the lens, we told a visual story of hope, progress, and the transformative power of medical research, helping to strengthen Al Jalila Foundation’s position as a leader in healthcare innovation.
